This site (the “Site”) and the SiiLA mobile application (the “App”) are operated by REIX Corporation and its subsidiaries SiiLA Brasil, Ltda., and SiiLA RE Solutions MX S.A.P.I. de C.V. (“SiiLA,” “we,” or “us”). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the Site and the App are collectively referred to as the “Services.” This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected through the Services and how we use your information.
This Privacy Policy only covers information collected by SiiLA through the Services and does not cover any information collected by any other entity or third party, or their respective websites. Please also review our Terms of Use, which govern your use of the Services. By providing us with information and by using the Services, you consent to have your information used as described in this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Services indicates to us that you have read and that you accept our privacy practices, as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.
Personally-Identifiable Information:
We may obtain personally-identifiable information about you at various times, through various means, and at various places on the Services. Personally-identifiable information (“PII”) is information that could reasonably be used to identify you personally, such as your full name, your address, or your e-mail address. We may also maintain PII about you that you do not directly provide, such as information received from third parties, business partners, or information we collect about your activities.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information:
When you visit the Services, our servers automatically collect certain website usage information. Services usage information is non-identifying information that describes how our visitors use and navigate the Services, such as the number and frequency of visitors to each page and the length of visitor stays. We may also collect the information automatically sent to us by your browser, such as browser type, referrer data that identifies the web page visited prior and subsequent to visiting the Services, and your IP address. We may use IP addresses for a number of purposes, such as system administration, to report aggregate information to our business partners, to audit the use of the Services or to determine if there has been misuse of the Services. We may use browser information to optimize your use of the Services. We may disclose non-PII, such as aggregated statistics, to third parties for a variety of purposes, including describing our services, marketing, and providing a better user experience on the Services.
Cookies:
Like most websites, the Services make use of browser “cookies.” We may use cookies for a number of purposes, such as tracking usage patterns on the Services, facilitating your ability to navigate the Services and as part of a verification or screening process. We may link the cookies to any PII or other information we collect. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but this may be disabled on most browsers. It is possible that some parts of the Services will not operate correctly if you disable cookies and you may not be able to take advantage of some of the Services’ features. You should consult with your browser’s documentation for information regarding disabling cookies.
Web Beacons:
Our web pages or e-mail messages may contain a small graphic image called a web beacon, which allows the party that sent the web beacon to monitor and collect certain limited information about the viewer (such as the type of browser used, the IP address of the viewer’s computer, the time the web beacon was viewed, and the URL of the page the web beacon comes from). We may use web beacons for a number of purposes, such as to count visitors to the Services or to monitor how our users navigate the Services, and we may include web beacons in e-mails to count how many messages were opened. In addition, third parties that serve content onto the Services or within our e-mails may use web beacons. We do not have control over the use of such web beacons by third parties.
Usage Analytics:
When you use the Services, including the App, we may collect certain technical information about your device and usage of the Services. This information may include device type, operating system, mobile device identifiers, application version, crash diagnostics and interactions with features within the Services.
We may use analytics and diagnostic tools to collect information about how the Services are accessed and used, including device identifiers, performance data, and crash diagnostics. This information is used to monitor performance, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve the functionality and user experience of the Services. Where possible, such information is collected and processed in an aggregated or de-identified manner.
We may use third-party analytics providers to help us understand how users interact with the Services and to improve performance and functionality.
Be aware that when you navigate the Services or view an e-mail sent by SiiLA, you may have the opportunity to click on links that take you to third-party websites. For example, if you choose to list a property for lease or for sale, you will be required to provide a credit card or bank account number. The Services does not collect credit card or other financial information, so anytime you choose to purchase a SiiLA™ Report or other service we may provide, you will be taken to a separate website operated and controlled by Chase Paymentech or Pagseguro or other third-party payment gateway service providers with whom we may contract. SiiLA has no control over, and is not responsible for, the privacy practices or the content of any third-party websites and expressly disclaims all liability associated with your use of, and the content on, such other websites. By clicking on third-party links you expressly relieve SiiLA from any and all liability arising from your use of such third-party websites.
SiiLA uses your personal information only for specific purposes. We may use your PII to provide you with services or content you request, to contact you in connection therewith, or for other purposes. We may also contact you regarding any problems or questions we have relating to your use of the Services, or, in our sole discretion, to notify you of changes to our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use or other policies or terms that affect your use of the Services. We may also use information we collect about our users to send you notification of new features and services (for example, topic reports), to improve the content and navigation of the Services, or for other purposes. You may opt out of receiving notifications at any time. We may aggregate the information about you that we collect through the Services, including information received by us or third parties. In those cases, we will apply this Privacy Policy to any PII received.
Sharing and Disclosure of PII to Third Parties:
By signing up for SiiLA subscription service, you authorize that your name may be listed in the section(s) of the Site that is/are accessible to other paid users and by offering a listing on the Services, you agree to allow us to publish your contact information in our directory of SiiLA Users and in conjunction with listings or offerings that appear on the Services.
The Services contains social networking features, including internal chat and messaging systems where users can accept connection requests from, and communicate with, other users (the “Social Network”). You assume full responsibility for your use of the Social Network, including without limitation disclosure of any PII or other information via the Social Network. You agree that SiiLA, its employees, agents, members, managers, parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensors and assigns are not liable to you for damages of any kind (including without limitation personal injury) resulting from your use of the Social Network.
We may share PII as outlined in this Privacy Policy. We may also share PII with third parties under the following circumstances:
We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include, without limitation, fulfilling orders, sending communications on our behalf, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, and providing customer service. These third parties may have access to our users’ PII to provide these services to us or on our behalf.
We may disclose information about our users, including PII, at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation, or to verify or enforce compliance with our internal policies and applicable laws. We may use IP addresses to identify users in cooperation with internet service providers or law enforcement agencies, and we may also disclose user information whenever we believe disclosure is necessary to limit our liability or to protect or enforce the rights, interests or safety of us or the Services, our users or others.
We may sell, transfer or otherwise disclose user information, including PII, in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, the sale of substantially all of our assets or of our business group, or other corporate change.
Upon written request, we will provide to you a summary of the PII we maintain about you, and, if requested by you because the information is inaccurate, out-of-date, or incomplete, we may modify or delete that information. Please be aware that it is not always possible to completely remove or delete information from our databases without some residual data remaining in backups.
We store the information we collect from you on limited access servers, and we take steps we deem reasonable in our discretion to maintain the security of our servers and to protect PII from unauthorized disclosure. However, even our security measures do not guarantee the security of any information transmitted via the internet. You therefore agree that SiiLA shall not be liable for any damages resulting from security breaches of the Services or our servers.
The Services are operated in the United States, Mexico and Brazil. If you are located outside of the United States, Mexico and Brazil, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States, Mexico and Brazil, which may not provide the same protections as those in your own country. By using the Services, participating in any of our services or providing us with your information, you consent to the transfer to, retention of, and processing of your data in the United States, Mexico and Brazil.
We retain PII for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and as necessary to comply with business and legal requirements. The length of time SiiLA retains PII varies and may, in SiiLA’s sole discretion, extend beyond the end of your relationship with SiiLA.
Although the Services can be viewed by children, we do not knowingly request or obtain PII from children, nor do the Services publish content that is targeted to children. No information should be submitted to, or posted on, the Services by visitors under the age of 18.
By using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to modify, revise, alter or otherwise update this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion. Any changes to the Privacy Policy will apply to information collected from the date of such modification, revision, alteration or update, as well as to all existing information we hold. This page will always contain the most current version of the Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of any such modifications, revisions, alterations or updates.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns about our Services or this Privacy Policy, you may contact us via email at contact@siila.com or via mail at 5100 N O’Connor Blvd Suite 350, Irving, TX 75039.
