International sources reveal that ByteDance, the company that owns TikTok, is planning a significant expansion in its offices in the United States. This new strategy will not only result in an increase in the company's occupied space but also imply a shift to the in-person work model.

The new venture will be in Silicon Valley, California, a location known for hosting a large concentration of technology companies. In addition, other locations are being considered, such as the Seattle metropolitan area in Washington and Nashville, Tennessee.

Sources indicate that the Chinese company may occupy the space formerly used by the technology giant Microsoft in Bellevue, an adjacent region of Seattle, totaling about 22,000 m² only in the state of Washington.

Currently, ByteDance maintain offices in Los Angeles, California, a WeWork space in Nashville, New York, San Francisco, and Austin.
