The Nexcom Group, which emerged from the merger of the Pub and Fato Relevante agencies, recently underwent a significant change by acquiring Charisma, a data intelligence company. This acquisition resulted in the integration of the companies' operations, and they now share a new, more spacious, and integrated office space in the Jardins region of São Paulo.

We interviewed Ricardo Bonatelli, Co-Founder of the Nexcom Group, to learn more about this transition and the objectives behind the change and their new corporate space. According to the executive, one primary goal was to create a more integrated environment for the teams and enable a hybrid work approach, combining remote work with in-office presence. "We highly value balancing online and in-person work. Stablishing our operations in this new space serves that purpose: allowing remote work while encouraging people to come to the office. We noticed that our teams are making even greater progress in data analysis with our Intelligence team, and along with that, we needed more space due to the team's growth", emphasized Bonatelli.

However, the move posed challenges in adapting the house, located on Groenlândia Street and built in the 1960s, to meet the needs of the Nexcom Group. "It was necessary to reinvent some areas, adjust the layout, break down walls, reinforce structures, and make specific changes considering the reality of our business, aiming for the practicality and comfort we require in our day-to-day operations. Of course, we also wanted everything to reflect our mood: restless, dynamic, and creative", added Bonatelli. The group utilized the kitchen space to offer an additional benefit to employees, hiring a professional to provide daily meals guided by a nutritionist.

According to the group, the chosen property offers ample facilities, including workstations, meeting rooms, a kitchen, and a recreational area for the team. "We are well accommodated with workstations, a lounge, meeting rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and a recreational area where we already had our first happy hour with the partners to inaugurate the office", said Bonatelli

The location also played a crucial role in the decision to renovate the space to accommodate the group's professionals. "The region meets our needs perfectly because it has a homely atmosphere and is close to major avenues. This makes it very convenient for people to commute, given the availability of public transportation", highlighted Bonatelli. The Jardins region is one of the city's main corporate areas, bordering Faria Lima, Itaim, Pinheiros, and Paulista.

The inauguration took place at the end of June and brought together other partners of the group, such as Alcides Ferreira, Managing Director of Fato Relevante (FR). FR, in turn, still maintains its original office on Alves Guimarães Street in Pinheiros, where operations were initially launched.

Currently, the Nexcom Group has approximately 200 employees, with an average of 25 people usually present in the office. "The office is open to everyone, and I am particularly excited about this movement", added Bonatelli. As for the work model adopted, the group continues with a hybrid format, allowing them to meet clients in person while maintaining internal moments for exchanges and interactions among the teams.
