The third edition of PROPTALKS Trends took place last Saturday (20) in São Paulo, sparking discussions and panels on the key themes shaping the next decade of the real estate market. Hosted by Gustavo Zanotto and Jota Baptista, the event brought together over 200 industry professionals at the G4 Educação headquarters, located in the Continental Square Faria Lima in Vila Olímpia.
Artificial Intelligence (AI), Asset Tokenization, Marketing, ESG, and other trends were the focus of discussions throughout the day. The first keynote, delivered by Magno Maciel, Researcher at OpenAI and Co-Founder of Serafim, presented significant insights regarding the adoption of new AI tools in real estate businesses.
"If our history was divided into two periods: BC (Before Christ) and AD (After Christ - Anno Domini), with the cognitive revolution brought by new Artificial Intelligence technologies, especially ChatGPT, which is one of the most popular tools today, it is highly likely that, very soon, the acronyms BC and AD will refer to the world Before ChatGPT and After ChatGPT," remarked Maciel.
The essence of the keynote focused on how AI becomes a cornerstone for making businesses more efficient. Maciel presented relevant data regarding companies already using ChatGPT in their processes: a 25% increase in speed and a 40% increase in quality. Moreover, 80% of companies listed in the Fortune Global 500 (the world's 500 largest companies) have employees using the tool daily.
According to Maciel, it is the "human element that will contribute the most to the global economy." He explained, "The tool makes relationships more productive; the professional will continue to be the driving force." The executive believes that AI should be used as a service, providing support in all processes.
Following Maciel's keynote, the event stage featured talks on the use of AI in customer service for real estate agencies, including the case of Lais, an AI developed by the startup Lastro. Marketing, property tokenization, multifamily, ESG, and other trends in the global real estate market were also discussed throughout the day.
