The E-commerce giant will start offering services to major retailers in the country

With more than 1.9 billion sellers integrating its marketplace, Amazon wants to go further by making its logistics and warehousing services available to major retail players. Until then, Amazon provided the service to smaller companies.

Amazon should officially announce the details at the Amazon Conect event, which takes place today and tomorrow, focusing on the public interested in using the platform for sales.Currently, Amazon operates 12 distribution centres in Brazil. However, the company did not reveal whether there would be more investments to meet the demand for expanding the supply of services.

According to data from SiiLA's Market Analytics platform, Amazon occupies almost 600,000 sq metres of logistics condominiums, with a presence in several Brazilian states.
