Barzel Properties launches FII with logistical and corporate assets

To raise R$800 million, the new Barzel FII fund will initially include four assets in São Paulo, two logistics, and two corporate.

Barzel Properties, led by Nessim Sarfati, is a real estate management and development company aiming to invest in high-end assets, focusing on the medium and long term. In December 2020, Barzel Properties announced R$2.7 billion of assets under management (distributed over 12 assets).

Logistic Assets

The CD1 is also found on the SiiLA Brasil platform, Galpão Isolated - GPA Distribution center, in Osasco, and comprises a single-user logistics complex, with the Pão de Açúcar Group as the lessee, which uses the space as a distribution and storage of products.

Bonsucesso Logistics Park is a class A + complex, according to the SiiLA classification, which has 33 modules in the Guarulhos region. Its tenants are as follows: Coca-Cola FEMSA, M Dias Branco, Lopes Supermercados, and Sestini.

Corporate Assets

For the corporate portfolio, Barzel FII has the Thera Building, class A +, in the Berrini region. The project is LEED Gold certified. Its tenants are as follows: Kimberly Clark, Nexa Votorantim, and Hotmart.

Finally, in the JK region, Condomínio São Luiz also integrates the portfolio of corporate assets of Barzel FII. With tenants such as Oba Supermercados, Dr. Consulta, and Bionexo, the project comprises four towers. The ground floor and roof were designed by landscape artist Burle Marx.
