Carrefour opens its first stores with no staff

Carrefour announces its first self-service stores in Brazil: one located at CoW coworking, in Brooklin, in the city of São Paulo, and another in the residential condominium Domo Life and Prime, in São Bernardo do Campo. Both under the Carrefour Express brand.
The stores offer a shopping experience without a member of staff. The purchase at the self-service Carrefour Express store starts with the mobile in hand, simply by opening the My Carrefour application, selecting the Scan & Go icon and approaching the QR code on the barriers or at the door to get inside. Then, to start shopping, consumers must use Meu Carrefour to scan the products they want to buy, making them inserted in their virtual cart.
