Comfrio and LPG inaugurate solar power plant in a logistics warehouse in São Paulo

Comfrio, an intelligence company in logistics solutions in Latin America for the food and agribusiness chain, and GLP, one of the global leaders in investment management in real estate, infrastructure, logistics and related technologies, have just inaugurated a solar power plant with 205 kWp of power contributing to increase the sustainability of the logistics operation for the food industry.
Located in the GLP Guarulhos I logistics park, where Comfrio operates a 6,000 sq metres plant, the plant will sustainably produce energy for the logistics operations of companies operating in the food sector. The plant will generate an average of 236.8 MWh per year, equivalent to the average annual consumption of 1,560 homes. According to the manufacturer of the panels, the new energy source will make it possible to stop emitting 75 tons of CO2 over the next 25 years.
