At a fast pace of expansion, Daki, a 100% digital marketplace application, announced new investments to improve logistics and customer experience. The company confirmed opening a new Distribution Centre (DC) in Barueri, in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo.

The location has more than 4,500 sq metres and storage capacity for up to 4,600 pallet positions, representing more than 3,000 items for domestic consumption, including food, hygiene, beverages, utilities and others. Daki's main objective with the new Distribution Centre is to expand the distribution capacity and reduce the company's inventories.

In addition to the increase in capacity, Daki's new DC will have a multi-temperature operating system, which allows for the storage of cold products and gains in resource sharing and transport to stores.

"By expanding our distribution network, we were able to increase the level of in-store service with greater product availability and reduced stock", explains Rafa Pinto, director of Supply Chain at Daki. He adds that this makes them not depend on the SLA of suppliers, which generates an increase in revenue, better cash management and optimization of store space.
