Dance of Light, the Chinese asset inspired by nature

03/10/2023 Famous for being the "most twisted tower in the world", Dance of Light was designed by the architecture studio Aedas and is located in Xingfu Square, in the Jiangbei district of Chongqing, China.
The twisted tower catches the attention of pedestrians with its two double-curved facades that create an optical illusion. Standing at 180 meters tall, the skyscraper has 39 floors.
The "twisted tower" is officially called Dance of Light, as one of its inspirations was the natural phenomenon known as the Aurora Borealis. In addition to this inspiration, the curious design was also created to celebrate the technological advancements made by the city of Chongqing.
