São Paulo is known for being a concrete jungle, precisely because of the enormous and iconic skyscrapers that are present all over the city. 5th place
Starting with the fifth tallest building in the world, the Lotte World Tower. Being the tallest in its country, South Korea, the property had its construction started in 2011 and completed in 2017. The Lotte World Tower is 1,819 ft.
4th place
Ping Ang Finance Center, besides occupying the fourth place in the ranking, is also the second largest in China and in all of Asia. The property is 1,965 ft and its construction took 7 years to complete.
3rd place
Starting the podium, we have the Makkah Royal Clock Tower, the tallest building in Saudi Arabia, which began construction in 2002 and was completed 10 years later, in 2012. The Makkah Royal Clock Tower is 1,972 ft.
2nd place
The Shanghai Tower is the largest in China and in Asia. Its construction began in 2009 and ended in 2015, taking 6 years to complete. The property is 2,073 ft.
1st place
In first place is the Burj Khalifa, a building located in Dubai that took 6 years to complete its construction. With 163 floors, the Burj Khalifa is 2,717 ft.
