Driven by a remote work regime, Usiminas puts its headquarters in BH for sale

The pandemic and the positive experience of the remote work made Usiminas put up its headquarters, an architectural landmark in Pampulha in Belo Horizonte, for sale.

The theme had previously been on the table, but the pandemic and the positive experience of the remote work made Usiminas put up its headquarters, an architectural landmark in Pampulha in Belo Horizonte, for sale.

The idea is to take the administrative part of the steelworks to commercial rooms, in the south-central part of the capital of Minas Gerais, if a deal is closed. Before the pandemic, between 300 and 400 people worked in the six-story building. At the end of the 2000s, a time of many investments in the company, there were a thousand, mostly engineers.
