Murilo Marcacini, director of SiiLA, recalls that, in addition to the growth of e-commerce, there are other reasons why companies seek logistical spaces for their operations, such as the need to provide excellent service to reverse logistics and also to increase fulfilment, a logistics model in which retailers and manufacturers use the direct logistics offered by the e-commerce company for direct delivery from their own Distribution Center, generating demand for storage space by e-commerce companies with these products.
The monitoring of SiiLA's logistics warehouses indicates that deliveries of new logistics ventures outside the Southeast region approached 1 million square meters in the last 24 months, three times greater than in the same pre-pandemic period. "And we have mapped a relevant number of projects already under construction, to be delivered later this year or in early 2023, with pre-lease", adds Marcacini.
Still referring to the advantages of logistics condominiums, Marcacini points out the structures that support large and heavy loads, the good efficiency for storage, high ceilings, spacing between pillars, a large number of docks, temperature control and fire safety, among other items.
