Enel will move its Alphaville headquarters to Marginal Pinheiros.

Enel Distribuição São Paulo is moving. The company’s headquarters will move out from the lavish Alphaville, Barueri (SP), to Parque da Cidade, a multi-purpose complex of corporate buildings, shopping centres, hotels and residences at Marginal Pinheiros, south of São Paulo.

The company will occupy one-third of Edifício Aroeira, a class A+ type property belonging to BR Properties. The date hasn’t yet been confirmed due to the pandemic. At this time, Enel’s office workers will continue to work from home.

According to Column with market sources, the pre-lease agreement covers approximately 14 thousand square metres of the building’s 45.6 thousand totals. The rent will stay around R$100 per square metre or R$1.4 million per month.

The move marks the return of the energy distributor headquarters to São Paulo’s capital. In 2012, under the control of the former owner, the North American AES, the company moved from Vila Olímpia, a stronghold of energy companies in São Paulo, to Barueri, planning to unify operations in multiple addresses.
