This year, the industrial properties market broke records exceeding the 22 million m² mark. To demonstrate the sector's evolution, the SiiLA research team prepared a graph that shows the growth of the stock of this type of asset in Brazil, where it is possible to picture the behavior of deliveries in volume and by classes (A+, A, and B).

According to Giancarlo Nicastro, CEO of SiiLA, this market is still considered recent in the country despite the level we are facing: "This sector is recent in Brazil and started to grow with the arrival of large warehouse developers combined with the need for companies to establish its operations in assets with international standards meeting the headquarters's requirements regarding technical specifications and certifications".

Based on the last ten years, in 2012, there were 7.9 million m² of industrial properties in Brazil. Since then, the stock has increased by 184%, with large deliveries of high-end assets (classes A+ and A).

The pace of new stock has been strong in the last few quarters and should continue to be strong in the following months. SiiLA monitors 4 million m² to be delivered by the end of 2023.
