Research data from FecomercioSP indicate that São Paulo retail earned 37% above the historical average. According to the federation, improved employment levels, falling inflation and normalization of the pandemic scenario are among the factors that explain these results.
The research reveals that the sector's sales increased by 11.3% between January and June, a growth of R$ 54.7 billion, compared to the same period last year.
For this second semester, the institution expects positive results, although smaller.
