FedEx Express announced the opening of a new Logistics Center in Cajamar (SP). The structure is the company’s largest in Latin America and one of the largest in the world, with 50 thousand square meters of operational area, 12 meters ceiling height, and A+ standard, which qualifies the installation as one of the best in the market.

Strategically located close to the Anhanguera highway, the new venture is fundamental for the growth of the company’s business in the country and greater integration with the main economic centers in Brazil, in addition to important highways, ports, and airports in the State of Sao Paulo. On-site, FedEx operates with 55,000 pallet positions and modern equipment to further improve logistics processes and work more quickly, especially to keep up with the growth of e-commerce.

The facility features 98 loading and unloading docks with hydraulic platforms, seven mezzanine floors to expand storage space, and over two kilometers of conveyor belts for picking, packing, and shipping operations. It also boasts state-of-the-art technology and a modern security system. "The new Logistics Center in Cajamar reinforces the importance of the Brazilian operation for FedEx. It is another investment by the company in the continuous improvement of our services in a very strategic market," says Luiz Roberto Vasconcelos, Vice President of Operations at FedEx Brazil. "The result will be even more efficient and customized service for our customers," he explains.

The location within a Class A industrial property is also one of the major advantages of the operation in Cajamar, providing enhanced security for cargo handling with a dedicated armored entrance and a 24/7 monitoring system. The new center will consolidate the company's logistics operations located in São Paulo and the metropolitan area, further strengthening the company's expertise in logistics services.
