Americanas recently announced that it does not plan to pay outstanding store rents inside malls. According to the list of creditors, the company owes around R$11.6 million to various malls across the country.

After this announcement, the malls' FIIs threaten Americanas with a lawsuit against the company.

Fundo Imobiliário Hedge Shopping Parque Dom Pedro (HPDP11) claims that Americanas is in good standing with the payment of rents, contrary to what the list of creditors indicates.
