Banco do Brasil, reigning as the largest office space occupant, commands an impressive expanse of over 283,000 square meters throughout the nation. Among the architectural landmarks claimed by this institution, the Sedan building, nestled in the heart of downtown Rio de Janeiro, stands out prominently.
Originally named "Cidade de São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro," over the years, it became better known among its frequenters as "Sedan" due to the street it occupies. It boasts a total private area of 49,186 square meters spread across 42 floors. In November, we featured a special article about this iconic skyscraper in REsource. Read more here.
Next in line is Santander, with over 218,000 square meters leased in offices across the country.
