The diagnostic medicine group Fleury, owner of the A+, Weinmann laboratories, and Fleury itself, is redesigning its new headquarters building to adapt its work environment to the new post-pandemic world, with a work from home scheme as one of the most visible legacies. The company has about 10,000 employees in four different buildings.

In the coming months, the group will move to a new building in the corner of Morumbi and Santo Amaro avenues, south of São Paulo, bringing everyone together in one place. The project is a built to suit type, designed to meet the tenant's needs.

Fleury's president, Carlos Marinelli, told the column that the future headquarters will have a larger area than the current one. Part of this expansion is explained by the group's growth plans. However, another factor for this expansion is the need to increase distancing between workstations due to the pandemic.

"The future design will be a hybrid model where employees will work from home and the office. They will come to the office for meetings, training, and socializing with colleagues. But when they want to focus, to sit down and write, they can stay at home", says Marinelli.
