Gafisa finalises the acquisition of the developer Bait

The payment of part of the amount in cash will still be linked to future events.

Blecher is a lawyer by profession but has been working in the real estate market for approximately 15 years. He is taking over the position previously held by Guilherme Benevides.

The company informed on Friday (16) that Bait's partner and executive director, Henrique Blecher, will be the new president of Gafisa.

The document also informs the closing of the acquisition of Bait by Gafisa, which began in March of this year, through a combination of payments in real estate assets, for R$ 90 million, and a component in cash of equal value. The payment of part of the amount in cash will still be linked to future events.

Blecher is a lawyer by training but has been working in the real estate market for about 15 years. He was the legal, financial and investment director of the construction company Calper and a partner of the management company Galt, which became Bait in 2017.
