Goodman Acquires 71,000 m² Avon Warehouse in Strategic Area of São Paulo, Brazil
- The site housing the cosmetics company is in the southern zone of the most populous city in South America

03/12/2024 The cosmetics company Avon is preparing to vacate its standalone warehouse in Interlagos, the southern zone of São Paulo. Starting in 2024, the company will gradually share operations with Natura, which acquired Avon in 2020.
The 71,000 m² warehouse was acquired by Goodman for R$ 272 million and is located on a 122,000 m² plot on Avenida Interlagos. The property is currently single-tenant, consisting of an industrial complex divided into three warehouses and an administrative headquarters. It is within a radius of less than 5km from Avenida Washington Luiz, a major access road to the Rodoanel.
When approached by REsource, Goodman commented that the development could become multi-tenant if there is demand. According to the company's portfolio on its website, the property will be available for lease from the second half of 2026.
Sources suggest that following the cosmetics company's departure, the company led by Edith Bertoletti, Managing Director of Goodman in Brazil, will undertake a retrofit of the development, transforming it into an "urban logistics" asset.
The Former Tenant
Acquired by Natura&Co in 2020, led by the executive João Paulo Ferreira (picture), Avon revealed to the REsource team that the company will undergo a gradual migration starting from 2024. With its operations concentrated in Cajamar, the Avon and Natura teams will work together in a single space.
"As part of the integration process of our businesses, Avon's factory activities in Interlagos will be transferred to Natura's factories in Cajamar, bringing together the operational teams of both brands in the same space, making our development and production chain more integrated in Brazil. The migration will be done gradually, starting from 2024, and conducted with the utmost care by our people and our network," the company reveals.
Avon's arrival in Cajamar will establish the company's distribution center and product factory in the city. Currently, the operation at the site belongs to Natura, which has three industrial facilities and offices in the development.
