This month, the Heineken Group announced the opening of its new distribution center located in Osasco, within the São Paulo metropolitan area. Situated in Bresco Osasco, this facility stands as one of the notable absorptions in the third quarter of 2023, covering 10,000 square meters, as per information gathered from sources by our team.

The company anticipates a substantial 53% increase in its product distribution within the region over the next three years. "This new operation represents a strategic redesign of our service network across four operations, aimed at accommodating the significant volume growth we've experienced in the São Paulo metropolitan area. We estimate a 30% increase in our storage capacity to serve 38 nearby municipalities", stated Bruno Ibargoyen, Regional Sales Director of the Heineken Group.

As per information gathered from sources by our team, the Distribution Center boasts an 8,000 square meter warehouse for beers and an additional 2,000 square meters dedicated to draft beer. Its storage capacity exceeds an impressive 60,000 hectoliters on a monthly basis.

In addition to Bresco Osasco, the group secured an additional 2,000 square meters at PIB Sumaré, a region near Campinas, in the first quarter of 2023.

Heineken made its entry into the Brazilian market in May 2010 through the acquisition of the beer division of the FEMSA Group. In 2017, they further strengthened their market presence by acquiring Brasil Kirin Holding S.A. They currently rank as the second major player in the Brazilian beer market.

As of the disclosed report in February 2023, Heineken reported a net profit of 2.68 billion euros in 2022, marking a 19% decrease compared to the preceding year.
