Yduqs is preparing another incursion intothe premium education segment: the company, formerly Estácio, will pay R$ 12million to create another Ibmec campus in São Paulo at Avenida Faria Lima thefinancial centre of the municipality. However, in addition to investing in itssecond space in the city of São Paulo, the company will also expand its scopeof operations. In addition to courses focused on economics and accounting,Ibmec will offer degrees in engineering, technology and architecture. The opening is scheduled for 2023.

The onslaught is part of the company's move to capture more students from thewealthiest classes, bringing greater profitability to the group andrepresenting a more resilient public in times of crisis. In addition to Ibmec, the company has made several investments in medical schools: in July, forexample, it announced an investment of R$ 30 million to create the company'slargest medical campus in Rio de Janeiro and, in recent years, the company hassought (and bought) several assets in the area.
