To meet the specific demands of Brazilian e-commerce, which grew by 12.6% in the first quarter of 2022 and earned around R$40 billion, according to Neotrust data, investment in dark stores has become popular as one of the initiatives to reduce costs and improve the speed of delivery of products to customers.

Small distribution structures in regions with a high concentration of sales and dark stores allow deliveries within 40 minutes via stock decentralization.

“In this aspect, Infracommerce invested in the solution since it manages to optimize routes and storage points by serving different brands and products in the same place.

All this without giving up cost competitiveness”, explains Jorge Catani, Logistics director at Infracommerce, a company that operates in the Customer Experience as a Service concept.

The company recently invested in 11 units of dark stores spread across São Paulo capital and interior, Salvador (BA), Fortaleza (CE), Recife (PE), Brasília (DF), Belo Horizonte (MG), Rio de Janeiro (RJ) Curitiba (PR).
