In the decision, Larissa Peixoto, president of the institute, certified that the properties of the Sports Complex, from the date of registration, "cannot, under any circumstances, be destroyed, demolished or mutilated, nor, without prior special authorization from the Heritage Service Historical and National Art, be repaired, painted or restored, under penalty of a fine of 50% of the damage caused".
