“Pickup points, in addition to optimizing logistics and bringing delivery options, are collaborating with e-commerce reverse logistics through drop off, allowing consumers to make exchanges or returns easily and conveniently,” according to Bruno Tortorello, CEO of Jadlog.
The interaction between Jadlog and consumers is made online via QR Code. The consumer shows his order at the physical Pickup point so that the purchase can proceed to the return process.
Based on a chain of commercial outlets partnered with Jadlog (coffee shops, convenience stores, stores, small businesses in general, and large chains), Pickup operates with extended hours in different locations, allowing the consumer to choose one of these locations close to your home or place of work to pick up the order. It is also an option for sellers on marketplaces, who can deposit their products to be shipped to consumers.
On the other end of the spectrum, fashion retailers and marketplaces also benefit from points, given the large volume of requests for exchanges and returns of clothing, footwear, and accessories.
