The scheduled date for opening the house was July. The pandemic, according to Auriemo, delayed the inauguration. But there were no changes to the project, and it was born integrated, designed to work simultaneously in digital and physical systems. "We will have stores with showrooms and inventory in other locations only," he explains.
The designed mix doesn't end with this first realization of the idea: it will be replicated in Itaim, at the same address where Casa Fasano used to operate. "Within four months, we should begin the second construction of the shopping center in the neighborhood, following this model."
Does this model cater to the luxury world post-pandemic? "There is an adaptation to meet the convenience of customers, and overall developments are already more focused on offering green areas and, if possible, open-air spaces. In CJ Shops Jardins, we preserved the area of the former Fasano restaurant, bringing this concept into the shopping center. All corridors have open sky and natural ventilation," says Auriemo, believing that this type of development will be more condensed. Does it compete with Cidade Jardim? "No, we see São Paulo as several cities. And it is increasingly difficult for customers to travel from one region to another."
