Opened in 1973, the Playcenter amusement park on Marginal Tietê had more than 20 attractions, the most famous of which was the Super Jet, the first metal roller coaster in São Paulo, Brazil.
After several factors, the park ended its activity at the site in 2012. Ten years after the closure of activities and the park's departure from the land, a new development is to be delivered early next year.
Brasília Office Square, carried out by EBI – Brasília Office of Imóveis da Barra Funda and MC Construtora, will be a complex formed by two corporate towers and is about to be inaugurated. Its delivery is scheduled, more precisely, for the first quarter of 2023. The assets are classified as class B by SiiLA Market Analytics platform.
The towers have 27 floors each and slabs that can be divided into four sets. In addition, the complex will have a helipad, a theater with a capacity for 300 people, and a mall that will connect the two towers. The asset will be included in the new stock in the SiiLA region of Barra Funda.
The Playcenter operates in a much smaller space, inside the Aricanduva mall, on the capital's east side. The park is seven days a week, following the mall's schedule.
