The city of Gothenburg, Sweden, received a further real estate development in its new inventory, the Nodi building. With the participation of the architecture office White Arktekter, the corporate building was built with the aim of exploring the possibilities of making the main raw material of the work, wood.
For the project's architects, Nodi shows that it is possible to build contemporary buildings that align with building standards and, at the same time, provide healthier and more comfortable environments. The floors are divided between offices and spaces for stores, the latter located on the first floor and the offices on the upper floors.
In Brazil, implementing sustainability concepts in buildings is now more common to be seen. We already reported a very recent example in SiiLA REsource.
The company Noah launched the first project built in engineered wood in Brazil, scheduled for April 2023. You can check out the full story of this launch here.
Do you want to know more about projects that use wood as the main raw material? Check out here a chat between Giancarlo Nicastro, CEO of SiiLA, and Nico Theodorakis about Noah's projects.
