According to Loggi, the biggest challenge is to make e-commerce reach all Brazilians

A bouncing hare is the symbol of the delivery revolution in Brazil. Sending or receiving packages is much simpler today than ten years ago – just request a courier from the app. This is possible in part thanks to Loggi, created in 2013. At the time, its founders, Fabien Mendez (now CEO) and Arthur Debert (CBO – Chief Beyond Officer, who is primarily responsible for overseeing the company's long-term future), noted that the delay in deliveries was an obstacle to productivity. And they saw an opportunity.

The technology startup created a network that serves immediate local deliveries to individuals and e-commerce operations nationwide. Delivery people participate on an autonomous basis. Loggi drew attention in its first months of life and received a contribution of R$ 2.6 million from investors.

In 2019, it became a unicorn after a $150 million investment led by SoftBank. During the pandemic, with the decline in-office services, it shifted its focus to e-commerce and worked with retailers such as Amazon and Mercado Livre.

Mendez and Debert met blindly to find the company, and they realized their partnership had potential after a good conversation, accompanied by cachaça (a traditional Brazilian alcoholic beverage).
