Wood furniture manufacturer Madeira Madeira has leased a new office in one of São Paulo’s key districts, Jardins, close to Avenida Paulista. The company will occupy two floors in the Latitude Corporate building, totaling over 800 m² of private space.
Madeira Madeira informed REsource that the new office is designed to meet the demands and needs of its employees. The location is currently under renovation, with plans to occupy it in 2025.
“We’re moving into a new space in São Paulo designed to better support our employees’ needs and the company’s growth. The new office, located near Avenida Paulista, is under renovation and will offer a modern, welcoming environment, anticipated to be ready by January 2025,” stated the company.
The transaction was brokered by SP Corporate, which reported that Madeira Madeira reached out through their website. During site visits, the company felt a synergy with Latitude Corporate, according to Fabio Costacurta, CEO of SP Corporate.
“Madeira Madeira mentioned they had already toured nearly all available buildings in several areas, so I suggested four corporate buildings they hadn’t seen yet. They were immediately drawn to Latitude Corporate, as it’s a complete building,” shared Costacurta.
Latitude Corporate is a building with 5.1 thousand m² of private space, located near Brigadeiro metro station on Rua Maria Figueiredo. With 15 floors and a 20% occupancy rate (excluding Madeira Madeira), the property hosts companies like Ahama Agronegócio, Luminate, and Select Soluções.
Founded by Daniel Scandian, Madeira Madeira is considered a “unicorn”—a term for companies with a market valuation exceeding US$ 1 billion without being publicly traded.
Established in 2009, the furniture manufacturer currently occupies 43.3 thousand m² of industrial properties monitored by SiiLA. Its largest area is in BTLG Jundiaí, with 16.2 thousand m².
The company also operates in Cajamar and Arujá, in São Paulo; Itajaí, in Santa Catarina; and Cabo de Santo Agostinho, in Pernambuco.
