MadeiraMadeira acquires startup IguanaFix
- According to the company, the IguanaFix service will initially be available to customers at stores in São Paulo.

04/13/2022 On Tuesday (12), MadeiraMadeira announced the acquisition of the Brazilian operation of IguanaFix, an Argentine startup that provides furniture assembly, repair and home assistance services. The first was focused on logistics by adding iTrack to its portfolio. The purchase of rival GetNinjas was MadeiraMadeira's second acquisition, and the amount hasn't been disclosed.
According to the company, the IguanaFix service will initially be available to customers at stores in São Paulo and will be gradually expanded throughout Brazil and other sales channels. With the acquisition, MadeiraMadeira expects to increase the average ticket of its sales.
The decoration and construction materials retailer was born in e-commerce and started investing in physical stores after receiving an investment from Softbank in 2019. According to data from the SiiLA Market Analytics platform, MadeiraMadeira is one of the occupants of five industrial properties located in São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Paraná, and Pernambuco. The company's administrative headquarters are located in the central region of Curitiba, Paraná.
