Magazine Luiza is creating types of service agencies in stores, the “Magalu agencies”, which will start operating by receiving products from the marketplace, delivering items purchased from these storekeepers to consumers, and storing them at the point of sale, the group told analysts today. The Magazine has 415 stores with pick up goods from tenants in the marketplace, from a total of 1,300 points, and plans to increase this number, but to do so, it needs to review the internal structure of the points.

To this end, there is no question of increasing the size of stores but reorganizing units and systems. Other competing companies have been working on this idea and are also studying pilot projects.
