Mall Real Estate Funds out perform IFIX despite lower DY, says Guide

Among brick FIIs, mall funds closed the week up +0.3%.

In a weekly sectoral report, Guide Investimentos shows that Shopping Mall Real Estate Funds performed better than IFIX

Guide Investimentos released on Monday (18) the sector's monitoring of the week regarding real estate funds. The brokerage points out that shopping centre real estate funds surpassed the IFIX in the week of July 12th to 15th, while paper FIIs closed down.

Among brick FIIs, mall funds closed the week up +0.3%. However, Guide points out that the sector's dividend yield in the last 12 months is the lowest among all asset classes (7.7%).

Even so, the brokerage believes the sector's strong recovery with the recovery of consumer confidence and the cooling of the pandemic; the annualized dividend yield will reach 9.1%.
