Online classifieds seem to be the main starting point for consumers to search for real estate. This is because, when starting their search, most consult real estate marketplaces (37%). Online real estate agencies (21%) occupy the second position among the channels used to search for properties.
The data belongs to new research by Capterra, a software comparison platform on real estate market trends. The study interviewed 1,000 consumers who purchased or rented a property in the last three years.
