With that in mind, Mercado Livre has partnered with The Insiders, a company specializing in marketing, to encourage customers to publish reviews in video format.
Three million nano-influencers, people with up to 10 thousand followers on social networks, will test the products sold within the platform. Based on that, they will evaluate the product in a review format.
"Our research shows that 80% of consumers check reviews from other shoppers before completing a digital purchase. Another fact pointed out is that these same consumers trust more reviews published on video. In other words, ads with video reviews generated by real consumers generate more sales conversion, and that's why we're going to work together with Mercado Livre", says Joel Amorim, managing director for Latin America at The Insiders.
