Mercado Livre and its voracious appetite for warehouses in Cajamar

In a move that illustrates its ambitions for ultra-fast deliveries in the country, Mercado Livre is preparing to absorb another 75 thousand square meters of warehouses in Cajamar (SP), according to market sources. The expansion will represent a growth of almost 70% in the area leased by the retailer in the city that has become the epicenter of Brazilian e-commerce logistics.

Located just 30 kilometers from São Paulo and with privileged access to the Anhanguera and Bandeirantes highways, companies like Amazon and Pão de Açúcar also fight over Cajamar as the city is on-demand for allowing deliveries in up to one day in the largest city in the country.
