Meta will reopen offices in January but allow employees to work from home until June

Meta, the conglomerate that brings together Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram, announced this Wednesday that it will reopen its offices in the US on January 31. It will allow employees to continue working from home until June should they wish. The company led by Mark Zuckerberg is following in the footsteps of Google, which last week indefinitely postponed the return of workers to the office due to the outbreak of the omicron variant of the coronavirus.
"We recognize that some of our employees are not ready to come back, so we continue to offer several options so they can choose what works best for them and make informed decisions about where to work," said Meta's vice president of human resources, Janelle Gale, in a statement.
