Microsoft Brazil inaugurated the new headquarters of Microsoft Reactor on Wednesday last week, which will be in a coworking space.
Microsoft Reactor is a global Microsoft hub created to promote knowledge sharing and technical learning and support the startup and developer ecosystem.
The space chosen was a unit of the CoW unit at Berrini, in the south zone of São Paulo. The headquarters has 215 sq. meters to meet greater demand from developers and business people.
The unit has 6,000 sq. meters providing lockers, bicycle racks, multimedia meeting rooms, an area for events, 855 workstations, and much more.
In addition to the headquarters in São Paulo, they also have other units across the globe: in San Francisco (USA), London (England), Stockholm (Sweden), Shanghai (China), and other countries.
“This new space was designed to support our strategy of increasing our community of engaged developers and entrepreneurs, generating even more networking opportunities and strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Brazil.”, explains Franklin Luzes, Vice President of Innovation, Transformation, and Startups in an accelerated growth phase at Microsoft Brazil.
In addition to being open to the public, this new headquarters will also work for startups that are part of WE Ventures, a Microsoft investment fund aimed at women entrepreneurs.
