New look: SiiLA NXT Podcast premieres with special guest, former Olympic swimmer and world champion Fernando Scherer

The big day has arrived. The first episode of SiiLA’s new interview program aired this Thursday (09). The NXT Podcast debuts with a different proposal: going beyond the real estate market to explore its guests in depth. Hosted by SiiLA’s founder and CEO, Giancarlo Nicastro, the format prioritizes more intimate conversations, covering lifestyle, everyday life, personal challenges, and defining stories from prominent Brazilian figures.

In the inaugural edition, the project welcomes former Olympic swimmer and world medalist Fernando Scherer, better known as “Xuxa,” who shares the invisible side behind the medals. Throughout the episode, one of the main discussions revolves around discipline as a tool for external validation and the limits of pursuing acceptance and success at the expense of self-awareness and personal fulfillment.

“Discipline forces you to do what needs to be done. With that, you build resilience, focus, and a winning personality. But the pursuit of medals and recognition came from an internal lack. I didn’t know I was already enough just by existing,” explains Scherer.

Between high-performance stories and historic achievements, the conversation blends a champion’s mindset with deep reflections on purpose and existence, showing that, often, the greatest victory may not be on the podium.

“In my greatest moment of joy and glory, it was also my greatest defeat. Because it was never enough. Nothing external will fill what is internal. I was seeking validation on the podium, in the eyes of others, but it never filled the void.”
