Brookfield Properties has announced that Guarulhos International Airport will receive two new logistics warehouses at the airport's cargo terminal.
The Aero I and II Logistic warehouses projects will have a combined area of approximately 200,000 m² of GLA (Gross Leasable Area) and access can be made by air and land, with the aim of speeding up the process of loading and unloading aircraft.
The new projects, managed by Brookfield Properties, are already in the development phase and will be high-end, including LEED certification. The estimated investment for the construction of the logistics warehouses is R$ 500 million.
"The logistics warehouses sector remains hot and this scenario should continue in the coming years. The two projects within GRU contribute not only to the growth of the market, but also offer a great differential with efficiency gains for transport companies at the main gateway of entry and exit of cargo in Brazil," says Hilton Rejman, Managing Director of Brookfield Properties.
