Brazil's real estate funds market registered an increase of 3.15% in January this year, with the number of investors reaching 2.62 million.
The B3's monthly report pointed to an increase compared to December, when there were 1.999 million quota holders.
Since December 2009, when the historical series of the B3 report started with just 12 thousand investors, the number of quota holders in this market has grown by 17.83%.
In 2020, the real estate fund market reached the milestone of 1 million investors.
At the beginning of this year, the equity of real estate funds (FIIs) on the Brazilian stock exchange reached R$ 201 billion, representing an increase of 4.14% compared to December of the previous year.
The market value of FIIs in January was BRL 146 billion, while in the previous month, it was R$ 147 billion.
