The Odebrecht headquarters will have new tenants

The search for tenants started for 42% of the high-end building area, where the Odebrecht group’s headquarters are located in São Paulo. The building held the name after the conglomerate until February. Previously occupied by the group, the Pinheiros One building, near the Euzébio Matoso bridge and the Butantã subway station, will have 12,700 square meters available as soon as the companies leave the site by mid-2021.

Braskem - which is part of the Odebrecht conglomerate - will remain in the building, but the other companies, such as Atvos, OEC, OR, OTP, as well as the holding company, are expected to leave and they are looking for properties with a lower rental price, Valor learned.

In May of last year, Odebrecht sold the building to SDI Desenvolvimento Imobiliário (renamed Tellus since November) and Barzel, in a transaction that allowed for a reduction of R$500 million in the group's debt.
