Parque da Cidade celebrates 10 years since delivering its first tower — and with it, a revolution in the corporate real estate market. One of São Paulo’s most iconic developments, the complex helped establish a new business centrality in the Chucri Zaidan region, now capable of rivaling traditional hubs such as Faria Lima, JK, and Pinheiros.
To understand the impact of this asset on the region’s positioning and what made the project so influential, REsource produced an exclusive video report featuring Hilton Rejman, President of Brookfield Properties, as well as representatives from three major tenants: Andrea Braune (Dow), Fernanda Miranda (Accenture), and Rodrigo Azevedo (Verisure).
Rejman recalls the company’s vision behind the acquisitions:
"It's an 80,000 m² site with 210,000 m² of leasable area, featuring a mall, hotel, and corporate towers. The idea was to create Place Making: to build a place and turn it into a reference in São Paulo. The mixed-use concept was the differentiator that made the asset so interesting."
The tenants highlight how the development delivers attributes ranging from sustainability to operational comfort. For Braune, from Dow, the choice resulted from a combination of elements:
“Dow found in Parque da Cidade the representation of what the company seeks and stands for: technology, sustainability, and accessibility.”
Miranda, from Accenture, points out that the company also influenced the complex itself:
“Our arrival had an impact on Parque da Cidade. We have capacity for 800 people and an average occupancy rate of 100%, and the asset provided the necessary comfort.”
Azevedo, from Verisure, reinforces the importance of the location:
“We needed a place close to public transportation and amenities such as malls, restaurants, and childcare facilities… to offer more comfort to our employees.”
