This Monday (4), Lojas Renner announced the conclusion of the acquisition of Uello, a logtech focused on urban deliveries. Created in 2017, Uello Tecnologia S.A. provides logistics management solutions for medium and large customers, including last-mile deliveries with route management, tracking and order notifications, as well as an app for drivers.

According to the retailer's statement, the acquisition "represents another step towards consolidating Lojas Renner's fashion and lifestyle ecosystem". With the acquisition, the company increases its omnichannel strategy, seeking to provide faster deliveries to customers.

"Logistics is a fundamental part of transforming our ecosystem", said Fabio Faccio, CEO of the company, in a video published on the Investor Relations website.

In the financial statement for the last quarter of 2021, released on March 17, the company announced that 45% of deliveries are made within two days by Renner, mainly in the metropolitan regions of Rio and São Paulo. The retailer also reported that it achieved greater efficiency in shipping from the store (a model in which the physical store is used as a point of stock), with an 18% reduction in cost per delivery in 4Q21 compared to the same period of 2020.
