Yesterday, Thursday (5th), RBR Asset Management, through the RBR Properties fund (RBRP11), announced a statement regarding the lease of unit 102, on the 10th floor of River One, located on Marginal Pinheiros in São Paulo. A total of 721.95 square meters of BOMA area was occupied.
The document released does not disclose the identity of the new tenant but states that the contract has a duration of 10 years. "The market remains strong. RBR has indicated in management reports that new negotiations are underway in the building and that demand is active. We expect to eliminate the vacancy, or get very close to it, by the end of this year or the first quarter of next year," said Caio Castro, partner at RBR Asset Management.
With the new lease, the building’s occupancy rate has now reached 78%, according to data from the Market Analytics platform.
Castro mentioned that this lease was signed at an average price higher than previous ones, demonstrating the strength of the building and the micro-region, close to the Butantã metro station.
This is the second lease in less than 20 days. At the end of August, Editora Globo leased 5,800 square meters of the development, occupying four floors. In addition to the new tenant, River One already has six other occupants, including Virgo, You On, Plano & Plano, among others.
