Sonae Sierra's Portuguese is negotiating to sell around 30% of their stake in Parque Dom Pedro Shopping in Campinas (SP). BTG Pactual already has a sales mandate in a transaction that may vary from R$ 600 million to R$900 million, say sources. It is another negotiation that adds to others in progress or has already closed in recent months and has been moving R$ 3.5 billion in the market, as reported by Valor yesterday.Sonae merged with Aliansce three years ago and, through Sierra Brazil, has 6.3% of the company created after the transaction. Sierra Brazil is the fourth-largest shareholder in the group. The sale value should be used to buy more shares of Aliansce by the foreign partners, says the source, so the search is for a buyer who pays in cash. When contacted, Aliansce Sonae did not respond.
