A leader in logistics in Brazil, JSL (JSLG3) wants to continue growing organically, through its own operation, and inorganically, through mergers and acquisitions. The company has bought other brands in recent years and has reinforced its intention to acquire Correios when the privatization auction comes out. For 2021, Ramon Alcaraz, CEO of the company, said he still plans to announce at least one more acquisition.

“Our appetite is strong for M&A [M&A]. This has to do with our growth strategy. For us to reach our goal, or dream, of gross revenue of BRL 11 billion or more in 2025, we have two strategies: grow organically, which has been happening, with BRL 2.5 billion in revenue from closed contracts only in the first half of 2021, and also the M&A. There were 5 acquisitions in the last 12 months, which added R$1.7 billion in annual revenue to JSL”, said the executive, on InfoMoney live.
