Telhanorte and C&C are fighting for buyers

10/11/2022 Owned by French multinational Saint-Gobain, Telhanorte has 77 stores across the country and is looking for buyers. Saint-Gobain has already hired Bradesco BBI to sell its units in Brazil.
C&C, owned by the Faria family, with 36 units spread across Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo and São Paulo, is in talks with BTG Pactual to assess the sale of the business, according to Valor Econômico newspaper.
As they are in the same segment, retailers are fighting for the same buyers in this sales dispute.
